Types of Peppers
In Turkey, peppers are primarily grown in the Mediterranean, Aegean, and Marmara regions. In the Mediterranean region, Demre district of Antalya is considered the leading area in pepper cultivation.
Harvest Season
Harvesting typically begins at the end of June or the beginning of July and continues until mid-October. In total, harvesting is done 9 to 15 times. It is usually carried out once a week.
