Grapes
Although grape cultivation is most intensive in the Aegean region, it is also carried out in the Marmara, Central Anatolia, and Southeastern Anatolia regions. The Aegean region leads in production, with İzmir and Manisa being the most prominent provinces for grape growing.
Harvest Season
Grapes are typically harvested when the berries change color — from green to yellow in white varieties, and from green to red-purple in red varieties. This usually occurs around 30 to 70 days after fruit set, depending on the variety and climate conditions.
