Orange

Approximately 60% of the oranges grown in Türkiye come from the Mediterranean Region, specifically the provinces of Hatay, Adana, Mersin, and Antalya. In addition, Muğla, İzmir, and Aydın are among the other leading provinces in orange production. In the Eastern Black Sea Region, oranges are also cultivated in the Rize province.

Harvest Season

In Türkiye, the orange harvest typically takes place from early November to the second week of May. However, due to market demands, some producers may extend the harvest period by leaving the fruits on the trees until the end of June.
